In my professional life, I work as a primary school teacher – I also work with children in our dojo where I teach the children’s class since 1991. Experiencing Aikido with children, to get them inspired for Aikido is a big pleasure for me. I am convinced that Aikido is a very valuable companion for every child since there cannot be enough harmony (AI), life energy (KI) and clear,straight way (DO) in a child’s life. I have observed, that children practicing Aikido show improvement in their stability, autonomy, self-confidence and flexibility.
I practice Aikido since 1981 and have myself benefitted from Aikido a whole lot. I enjoy the dynamic motion, the KI and also try to incorporate the Aikido philosophy in my daily life. Besides that I have participated in many great seminars in Switzerland and abroad and had many pleasant encounters with other Aikidoka.
