I started judo at the age of eight and came into contact with a Japanese martial art for the first time. After 7 years of judo training, some time later, in search of a more traditional approach to the original budo concept, I discovered aikido and started practicing at Aiki-Kai Zurich in 1995. At the same time, I also practiced Iaido and Karate for several years.

In order to deepen my understanding of Aikido, I have attended more and more courses in Switzerland and abroad with teachers of different styles. In recent years, Brahim Si Guesmi and Stéphane Benedetti in particular, as well as other teachers from the Mutokukai environment, have had a formative influence on me.

In addition to my fascination with the aesthetics and precision of the movements, what interests me most about this martial art is its enormous complexity, a complexity that cannot be described in words, but can only be experienced through many years of practicing.
